Bringing the Values Discussion to Napa!

As the artist bringing the Values Project to Sacramento, I want to involve the entire community in this discussion.  On the NEWS page, I'll be posting interviews we  conduct with passersby, as well as the story-cards that people fill out.

We want to hear your thoughts on how values affect your everyday life.  Pick a value that resonates with you; can you think of a personal story about it?  How has it affected your family or friends?  How does one of your HEROES embody a value?
This is YOUR forum, so SPEAK OUT & BE HEARD!

Gratitude ~ Respect ~ Tolerance ~ Learning ~ Charity ~ Kindness ~ Compassion ~ Productivity ~ Knowledge ~ Courage Responsibility ~ Patience ~ Honor ~ Commitment ~ Integrity ~ Community ~ Service ~ Justice ~ Trust ~ Dignity

Great idea! I think in the age of reality tv and mindless entertainment we've lost our way a little bit. I think it's nice to remind people to look up to people making a difference at hoem or abroad rather than feeding into the whole insta-culture.

Dear Mr. Peter Hassen,

This is to inform you that I read about your subject project on Napa Valley Register online and also how I got your email address. I personally find it a very positive approach in sending a message and wish you get more people to get involve in spreading this message.

The following words are some of my suggestions and feel free to choose what you see fits: 1)Forgiveness, 2) Faith, 3) Understanding, 4) Perseverance, 5) Pray,
6) Peace, and 7) Hope...

I wish you Good Luck on your kind spirited project and Hope this will get more positive response and wish people will gradually learn to be open and start embracing this with hopes that will gradually feel the positive impact in each one's life.

With good wishes,
Ms. Sony.

Volunteering for this project was a good experience! It was cool to be a part of something that lots of people will be visiting.

Read a short little blurb I typed up about it at wanderingrose.org!
